Dream Sisters started in a Starbucks in Oklahoma City, OK on November 10, 2017. They say, ”it is a Holy Spirit filled Starbucks”… Co-Founders, Nikki Wright and Melisa Zimmerman contacted each other out of the blue to meet and catch up. God downloaded an idea in both ladies hearts, that soon became Dream Sisters. The vision just spilled out as they talked over anointed coffee. The mission for Dream Sisters is to empower women, to be and seek mentors, partners and leaders to identify, develop, and fulfill their God given dream.
Soon after, they started hearing from God on who should start this amazing journey with them. Nikki began contacting women ministry leaders she didn’t even know. She shared with them the vision and passion of DS and asked to meet for coffee. All the women who would normally be to busy with their own ministry felt a pull to see what DS was all about. The first gathering was at the Jones Assembly where they had lunch, met all the women, and poured out the vision for this ministry. God brought together the perfect mix of amazing women to start the first DS group.
The ultimate goal is to birth other DS all over the world. The vision is to empower other women to start and lead their own DS group. We believe everyone should be a Paul/Mentor, Barnabas/Dream Sister on same level, or Timothy-Mentee.
