3 Ways to Connect with IMPACT

Do you wish you could grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally by everyday encounters?

In last weeks blog I talked about the 3 warning signs you aren’t connecting with influential people. Now I want to give three solutions to that problem.

We all know, positive influence is key and goes hand and hand with having valuable friendships. If you aren't influencing each other in a positive way, both parties will be stuck in the same spot you started in.

In my past I used to do this all the time, and produced no growth whatsoever.

Picture it...you finally agree on a time you can meet for coffee, after texting back and forth for weeks. You catch up on each other’s lives, complain about your job, husband and crazy kids, and then say your goodbyes.

Let me pause and say this… It’s totally ok to tell each other your concerns about your job, family life, and whatever else. But, this is key… you must ask yourself, how can I be the solution and make an impact?

How could your conversation have gone differently?

What would the results be if you would have built each other up and encouraged one another?

Connect with others who you can be vulnerable and authentic with. If you don’t trust them and feel comfortable, it’s hard to make an impact and in return be impacted.

It does take some intentional effort to make this happen, but I promise it's worth it and vital in your personal growth!

Here are 3 ways to connect with IMPACT:

1. Join a small group at your church.

Connect with other life changing people. You will give each other encouragement, personal/biblical guidance, and accountability. You can grow in your walk with God by speaking life-giving scriptures over each other.

We must come together to lead each other into our full potential through prayer and influence.

2. Call a positive role model/mentor.

Think of the people who have poured into you. Meet with that person who you admire. Learn from their wisdom and life experience. Then, God will equip you to mentor others who need the same truth, but might be in a different place spiritually.

God wants to use our hands and feet to show the love of Christ. Please, don't miss this calling God has for you. Obey Him and make that leap to connect with an impact!

3. Connect with women who are in your same boat.

I keep hearing so many women say, "I want to take that step to improve my quality of life, but I feel stuck in a packed schedule whirlwind and don't have time to devote to my relationship with God and others".

Notice the word, "stuck". Stuck means fixed, pinned, fastened, attached. That word isn't something God likes to see you feel. God came to give us life and life more abundantly, not to be chained down. So, let’s join arms with other like-minded women, and get unstuck, and step out of the cycle you are currently in. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Once you implement these strategies, you will no longer be emotionally drained, you will have better clarity on your purpose, and you will be making an impactful difference all around you.

Hebrews 10:24-25, Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Wow, what an amazing scripture! CONNECT, CONNECT, CONNECT as God directs you, and do it with an IMPACT!

Please share this post with others so we can all get connected!
